Position Title: Sr. Specialist DDIT DEV P&P

(Databricks, Oracle SQL / PLSQL, Python Scripting and  to AWS cloud technologies)

Location – Hyd-India #LI Hybrid

About the Role:

Specialist for project delivery and/or operations in the given business sub capability. Partner with Business Stakeholders and DDIT Strategic Business Partners for demand analysis, solution proposal/evaluation and project delivery. Drive operations of systems and applications in scope (both Global and Local), ensuring their stability and integrity and meeting customer service levels

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Execute technology delivery strategy for business systems, platforms, and processes for a
  business domain / Function.
• Partner with senior business stakeholders and Strategic Business Partners for demand
  analysis, solution proposal/evaluation, and funding estimates.
• Partner with business partners to ensure Technology Service/Solutions Delivery teams
  deliver products according to strategy with reuse across other areas. Ensure on time, within
  budget, compliant, secure, and quality delivery of portfolio for responsible function.
• Ensure services, solutions, platforms, products are fit for purpose and achieve the desired business value and impact.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Run efficient DevOps for platforms, products, or systems ensuring availability and optimal
  performance for responsible function / service area and establish governance structure for projects, operations, etc with right stakeholder representation.
• Track, report, and deliver against agreed success factors and KPIs for various stakeholders
  for responsible function / service area. Follow industry trends and emerging practices to drive agility, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Ensure the overall user experience is considered when designing and deploying new solutions and services. Ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures
• Delivery on agreed KPIs including business impact. Launch of innovative technology solutions across Novartis at scale.
• Business impact and value generated from DevITsolutions. Adoption and development of Agile, Productization and DevOps practices. Operations stability and effective risk management. Feedback on customer experience

Desirable Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience in Databricks, Oracle SQL / PLSQL, Python Scripting and hands on to AWS cloud technologies and Veeva is good to have with strong exposure to IT Solution Architecture, Strategy & Planning, and Systems Integration

• Proven capability in managing cross-functional and geographically diverse teams. Ability to translate business needs into technical strategies and deliver impactful solutions.
